Is there a minimum on the trips you have to book to maintain your status as a travel agent,or would it be smarter to just join a travel club?

It turns out I was not picked for my senior trip which is sad, but I'll get over it. However, this does not stop me from wanting to go somewhere anyway. I'm thinking of taking a trip abroad somewhere this summer but I don't know where exactly. Haven't decided on it quite yet. So I'm asking, what sites can I go on to find good deals for 3 people if not more?

Besides AAA are there any other groups and associations that help you to get discounts on travel expenses such as hotel bookings, airfare, and rental cars?
